About Daytone Printing

Daytone Printing Pty Ltd was established in 1985, and opened its doors to trade from a small shop in Collins Gallery Canning Hwy, South Perth.

Daytone Printing Pty Ltd is a Western Australian, family owned and operated business.

David and Sandra Stone created the business and still manage the business today. Daytone Printing Pty Ltd has gone from strength to strength and in this time has outgrown 5 operating premises. David & Sandra, happy about the growth of the company and needing a more permanent base for the business, purchased a factory premises in Claude St, Burswood 8 years ago to house the rapidly expanding business - this is where they are still located.

Daytone in the last eighteen months, bought two other long established West Australian family owned businesses namely:

• Worth Printing and
• Scope Printing Service

which have now been housed within the same premises in Burswood - however still running under their own names in affiliation with Daytone Printing Pty Ltd. This move has given clients and staff many positive benefits.

The"Art Room" now has the latest CTP (computer to plate) system, an in house design/prepress expert, utilising both Macintosh and PC platforms, with trade standard programmes Quark, Photoshop, Illustrator, and In Design. This enables client to email final artwork in a PDF format which can be sent to the CTP and out to the press room. Alternately Daytone, Worth or Scope Printing can create the job for you and after approval simply send it to the CTP system then to the press room for printing.

The"Press Room" has qualified tradespersons, has 5 presses (all designed to suit different jobs) and also incorporates a fully equipped binding room.

Client job orders come in for processing, are completed in-house by fully trained staff and then returned to the client personally by management within the metropolitan area.

Daytone has, as its cornerstone strength, its service level based on:

1. clients knowing who they are dealing with (the business owners)
2. ability of clients to talk to the owners directly about any problems
3. helpful problem solving capabilities
4. efficient and speedy complaint resolution - if it is Daytone's fault, the job order is redone at no cost to the client.

At all times Daytone strive to have a partnership with their clients and assist them to make their business a success. In confirmation of this Daytone has had some clients since 1985 and many others that are chalking up 10, 12 and 15 year relationships. Recommendations from existing clients provide many opportunities for relationships with new clients.

In summary, Daytone is well positioned and organised, has the latest equipment and employs check systems and stringent quality control measures to ensure cost efficient on-time professional delivery of all jobs.
